CASE KNIVES BLACK CANVAS LAMINATE GUNSTOCK

The Case Gunstock is a classic pocket knife for daily use. It derived its name from the shape of the handle: it looks a little like a gunstock. The sleek lines look cool, and the small 'step' at the base of the handle provides a little extra grip. The main blade is a spearpoint and the secondary blade is, as Case calls it, a pen-blade. It is remarkable that both are enhanced with a nice swedge on the spine of the tip. As such the tip is a little more pointed.

Technical Description

Case Tru-Sharp SS steel

• The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless type of steel that is similar to 420HC steel. Characteristic of this type of steel is that it can be sharpened super sharp very quickly.

Black Micarta

• The handle is made from Black micarta. Micarta is a composite material of linen and synthetic resin. Normally this is made from black linen and transparent resin. In this case the resin is enhanced with black pigment to make sure it looks darker.
